MOSTAR, Jan 22 (Hina) - Senior Bosnian Moslem and Croat officials
met behind closed door in the southern town of Mostar on Monday to
discuss ways of overcoming difficulties in the divided town.
The talks were also attended by Bosnian Prime Minister Haris
Silajdzic, Croatia's Defence Minister Gojko Susak, Mostar's
European Union Administrator Hans Koschnik, Mayor of Croat-held
west Mostar Mijo Brajkovic, and Mayor of Moslem-held east Mostar
Safet Orucevic.
Susak told reporters before the meeting that he hoped an
agreement would be reached today.
Silajdzic said he expected that "the Mostar issue will be
resolved today" and that the town would not remain divided.
