ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - Croatian minister of reconstruction Jure Radic on Tuesday met a delegation of Korea's Chamber of Commerce, headed by the Chamber's president Jong-Doh Park. #L# After the meeting Park said Korea was very interested to boost cooperation. He encouraged Croatian experts to attend the sponsored seminars in Korea, at which the Koreans offer their know-how. Radic said Croatia would gladly accept such invitations, but added that best results might be achieved through joint cooperation in specific economic projects. "The largest Croatian (north Adriatic) port of Rijeka is an easy and convenient way to reach European markets from anywhere in the world, including Korea. The same goes for the second largest port of Ploce, concerning the area of Bosnia-Herzegovina and further in central and eastern Europe," Radic said, adding that his government was willing to discuss allowance of customs free zones to Korea. "There is also a possibility for Korea to start an industry, such as assembling cars, in Croatia, which would significantly facilitate the Korean export to Europe," he added.
