SARAJEVO, Feb 3 (Hina/Habena) - Foreign Minister of the Republic Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jadranko Prlic, Saturday received Apostolic Nuncio to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Msgr. Francesco Monterisi, the Minister's cabinet reported today.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jadranko Prlic, Saturday received Apostolic
Nuncio to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Msgr. Francesco Monterisi, the
Minister's cabinet reported today. #L#
Nuncio Monterisi congratulated Prlic on the appointment for
the post of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister, and voiced wish
to contribute to the strengthening of peace and peace efforts. He
pledged the cooperation of the Apostolic See in implementation of
peace accords, and reminded of the permanent support of Pope John
Paul II to peace efforts in southeastern Europe.
Vatican was planning to open its own diplomatic mission as
soon as possible to contribute more to the establishment of peace,
he added.
Minister Prlic said the Bosnian Government was ready to do its
best in implementation of the peace agreements, in return of
refugees and help to war-stricken families as well as in
reconstruction of war-torn areas.
