The Bosnian delegation included Vice President of the
Federation, Ejup Ganic, Foreign Minister Muhamed Sacirbey and a
minister in charge of relations with UN, Hasan Muratovic.
"We talked about Sarajevo. Regarding to difficulty in the
peace plan's implementation in the Bosnian capital, the Bosnian
delegation stressed that Serbs who had lived there before the war
should remain and they are guaranteed all international rights. But
all expelled non-Serb citizens must return to their homes in the
temporarily Serb-held four Sarajevo municipalities of Ilidza,
Vogosca, Ilijas and Hadzici," Ganic said after the talks.
"War criminals must be tried and punished," he added. As a
considerable progress in our conduct, we emphasized that we would
pass an amnesty act, Ganic said.
"During this meeting all of us voiced satisfaction with the
deployment of IFOR troops so far," he added.
"The US President accepted our suggestions and understood our
difficulty. He also pledged that America would offer complete help
to the Federation and peoples of Bosnia-Herzegovina," said Ganic
after the talks with Clinton.
