ZAGREB, Jan 1 (Hina) - The President of the Republic of Croatia,
Franjo Tudjman, received the Head Deputy of the European Union
High Commissioner for former Yugoslavia, Michael Steiner, in Zagreb
on Thursday, a statement from the Presidential Office said.
Steiner informed President Tudjman about the details of the
establishment of the Central Government of the Republic Bosnia-
Herzegovina and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which both
Croats and Moslems accepted with satisfaction.
President Tudjman reiterated Croatia's overall support for the
establishment of the Federation, stressing the need for the
completion of that process by adopting a final cantonal system and
establishing the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tudjman and Steiner also talked about the problem of
organizing municipalities in Mostar as well as about the return of
refugees.
The Head Secretary of the EU High Commissioner's Office,
Thomas Schmitt, was also present at the talks.
The talks were also attended by the Head of the Presidential
Office, Ivo Sanader, aide to Foreign Minister, Hidajet Biscevic and
Croatian Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Darinko Bago, the
statement said.
