$ JMAN ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - Switzerland, which is presiding over the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), supports the implementation of the Dayton peace agreement as well as the peaceful development of the
situation in the Balkans, the Swiss Foreign Minister and OSCE chairman Flavio Cotti told reporters after he held talks with Croatian President Franjo Tudjman in Zagreb today. He described his meeting with Tudjman as 'very important', stressing that 'Croatia is playing the main role in the implementation of the peace agreement'.

Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE),
supports the implementation of the Dayton peace agreement as well
as the peaceful development of the situation in the Balkans, the

Cotti said that he and President Tudjman had discussed the
main mandate of the OSCE in the implementation of free elections in
Bosnia-Herzegovina and the freedom of media and movement. the two
high officials laid special stress on the need to allow those
Bosnian citizens who at the time of elections would not be in their
country, to vote.
The talks had also tackled the peaceful reintegration of
eastern Slavonia and the situation in Mostar, Cotti said, adding
that the resolution of the Mostar problem would have a symbolic
meaning for Switzerland which was a multinational society.
The Swiss Foreign Minister would leave tomorrow for Sarajevo
where he is to meet Bosnian state officials.
