Kostroman reminded that all foreign armed forces were to
leave by 14 January (or 19 January) under the Dayton Agreement. He
also warned that there were still commanders and troops from the
so-called Yugoslav army located in Bosnia and that some Mujaheddin
troops had not yet left the area of Bihac.
Herzeg-Bosnian envoy to IFOR Joint Military Commission,
Brigadier Ivan Kolak, confirmed that all Croat forces which took
part in military operations in Bosnia had withdrawn from areas
under the Bosnian-Croat forces (HVO) control within the established
time limits.
Kolak said that the Bosnian-Croat forces had withdrawn two
kilometres from the confrontation line. The deadline for withdrawal
expires at midnight Friday.
