PARLIAMENT ADOPTS LAW ON IMPLEMENTATION OF STATE BUDGET IN 1996

ZAGREB, Jan 30 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of Representatives today unanimously adopted the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Sale of Flats. According to the Law, relatives of killed or imprisoned Croatian defenders would be able to purchase flats with larger discount. Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic spoke about the draft legislation on areas of special interest to Croatia. The legislation was aimed at more balanced development of the country, as well as at the creation of better living conditions for people living in less developed regions and the settling of Croatian emigrants in Croatia. There is great interest in the Parliament for a discussion about this draft legislation. The House of Representatives adopted the Law on the Implementation of the State Budget for 1996 with a majority vote. The House of Representatives also decided with a majority vote that Petar Sale would again be appointed to the post of Public Attorney. (hina) rm mm 302227 MET jan 96
