ZAGREB, Jan 30 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of Representatives resumed a session on Tuesday morning after a one- week adjournment. The Croatian parliament lower house will vote on the draft budget for 1996. Afterwards
parliamentary members will tackle some 20 items of the session's agenda.

Representatives resumed a session on Tuesday morning after a one-
week adjournment.

At the beginning of the session the Parliament Speaker, Vlatko
Pavletic, reminded members that the discussion on the 1996 budget
had been over and that the Government had sent its own amendments
to the draft budget.
A vice premier, Borislav Skegro, said that the Government had
accepted amendments, which are possible at the moment, and that it
had provided funds for employment of demobilized Croatian soldiers.
Explaining the Government's amendments, Finance Minister Bozo
Prka, said the Government had accepted a third of amendments
proposed by parliamentary members during the discussion, and raised
budget expenditure for another 200 million kunas.
The session is continuing with voting on amendments proposed
by parliamentary members.
