Transitional Administrator of the area, Jacques Klein, informing him about establishing contacts with Croatian Serb representatives in the Danubian area.
OSIJEK, Jan 30 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian government office
at the transitional administration for the establishment of the
Croatian authorities in the occupied Croatian Danubian area, Ivica
Vrkic, Tuesday sent a letter to the Transitional Administrator of
the area, Jacques Klein, informing him about establishing contacts
with Croatian Serb representatives in the Danubian area. #L#
"At a session, held on January 24, a proposal was accepted
that agricultural experts should hold a meeting, and agreement was
reached on preparatory works for sowing next spring," Vrkic wrote
in the letter.
He asked Administrator Klein to mediate and support a solution
of the question of preparations for sowing, reminding him that the
time limit for preparatory sowing activities would be March 15.
Vrkic added that the sowing in time was important to
incentives to the economic development of the Croatian Danubian
area. Therefore, the Croatian Government was ready to provide
equipment and workers for the spring sowing at a large part of
103,000 hectares of still untilled land in the temporary occupied
area, he wrote.
