CRO CATHOLIC CHURCH TO HAVE ITS REP IN EAST SLAVONIA OFFICE

DJAKOVO, Jan 24 (Hina) - Djakovo Bishop Ciril Kos, Osijek County prefect Branimir Glavas and the head of the government office for restoration of Croatian authority in the remaining occupied areas, Ivica Vrkic, met in the eastern town of Djakovo on Wednesday. The meeting focused on the peaceful reintegration of the remaining occupied parts of the Croatian Danubian region and the role of the Church in the process. Vrkic told reporters that the Croatian Catholic Church would have its representative in the office for restoration of Croatian rule in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem.
