SARAJEVO, Jan 26 (Hina) - Bosnian Federation President Kresimir
Zubak on Friday visited Pale, where he met the representatives of
the Serb entity.
"In order to fully implement the Dayton Agreement it is
necessary to stage many meetings with the representatives of the
Serb Republic," Zubak told HINA after the talks.
The Federation delegation included Justice Minister Mato
Tadic, Transport Minister Ibrahim Koluder and Prime Minister
designate Izudin Kapetanovic. The Serb delegation was led by
Momcilo Krajisnik and Aleksa Buha. The meeting was organised at the
initiative of international officials.
It was agreed that both sides should immediately order the
release of all prisoners. The Governments of Croatia and
Yugoslavia would be requested to check if there were any Bosnian
citizens in their jails and, if found, to release them.
The meeting was conducted in a "very correct atmosphere"
and both sides were willing to "listen to the other party's
arguments" even though the talks lasted more than two hours and a
half, Zubak said.
He announced that Serb Republic representatives would visit
Sarajevo very soon.
"That is not so much a political problem as a psychological
one, but it is important to do it in order to implement what has
been agreed in Dayton and signed in Paris," Zubak said.
"These meetings are necessary, and they are in the interest
of both parties," he concluded.
