SARAJEVO, Jan 10 (Hina) - The President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak, received the U.S. President's special advisor on the implementation of the Dayton agreements, Robert Gallucci, in Sarajevo today, a
statement from Zubak's Office said.

special advisor on the implementation of the Dayton agreements,

The talks focused on the establishment of federal
institutions, the establishment of cantons as well as on certain
difficulties which have cropped up recently, especially in Mostar.
Ambassador Gallucci offered help in solving those problems in
time and Zubak welcomed his offer.
Ambassador Gallucci also met the Bosnian President Alija
Izetbegovic and other Bosnian high state officials.
After the talks with Foreign Minister Muhamed Sacirbey,
Gallucci told reporters he hoped that a period of peace was coming
in which people would be able to live better.
Commenting on yesterday's tram attack by Bosnian Serb
extremists, Gallucci said the incident was highly detrimental to
the peace process and promised he would do all he could to prevent
similar incidents.
