Rayner further warned that movement through separation zones
was extremely dangerous because of unexploded mines.
IFOR commanders decided therefore that the majority of heavy
weaponry would be destroyed by NATO planes. The operation should be
finished tomorrow.
IFOR continued with regular patrols in order to ensure that
the demilitarized areas were not entered by any party, IFOR
officials said, adding that the arrival of NATO forces in Bosnia
continued without any difficulties.
