Muratovic said that so far he had not been exposed to any
party pressures as regards the election of candidates. He stressed
that he had held consultations with the Bosnian Croats on their
candidates for the new government.
Only experts would sit in the new government, Muratovic said,
adding, however, that during the recent consultations he had
managed to win for the ministerial posts only half of the people he
wanted to see as ministers. The future premier stressed that he
would personally see to it that the separation of authorities
which under the Dayton agreement belong to the governments of the
Republic and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina be strictly
observed.
The federal government would be established by January 30 and
according to the existing legal norms, its election would have to
be put to vote in the Federation's Assembly.
