In a statement the SDA executive council strongly condemned
the conduct of the Prime Minster Haris Silajdzic and accused him of
stalling a political process.
The executive council of the Moslem leading party in Bosnia-
Herzegovina underlined in the statement that the Government of the
Republic and the Federation must be formed without delay in order
"to prevent further detrimental effects and to begin resolving
accumulated problems."
The council also cautioned that the postponement in
establishing the government "is of benefit to Croatian extremists,
as it helps delay the dissolution of Herzeg-Bosnia,", what was also
of benefit to those who oppose the Republic.
Bosnia-Herzegovina's Prime Minister, Haris Silajdzic, Saturday
announced that he would not accept to be a prime minister designate
for a new central government, should tendencies to weaken bodies of
state central authorities continue.
Silajdzic said that the law on the government, recently
adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina, did
not reflect the will of people. He also accused the SDA party of
manipulating delegates at that voting.
