ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
received Ambassador Mario Mikolic attached to the Foreign Ministry,
the President's office said in a statement.
Following is the full text of the statement:
"Ambassador Mikolic presented President Tudjman the book
'Diplomatic Protocol,' which discusses the basic protocol rules in
Croatia and compares them with those in effect in other countries.
President Tudjman welcomed Ambassador Mikolic's efforts to
create the first protocol book to be published since the
international recognition of Croatia's sovereignty and
independence, voicing his conviction that the application of the
book would contribute to the reputation of Croatian diplomacy.
Also present were the head of the President's cabinet, Gordan
Radin, and head of the State Protocol, Ambassador Ivan Misetic."
