BELGRADE, Jan 10 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and
Foreign Minister Mate Granic arrived in Belgrade on a working visit
this morning.
Minister Granic was accompanied by his assistants Ivan
Simonovic, Hidajet Biscevic, Miroslav Medimorec and other ministry
officials.
The Croatian delegation was met at the Belgrade airport by
Yugoslav Foreign Minister Radoslav Bulajic, Head of the Yugoslav
office in Zagreb Veljko Knezevic and other ministry officials. Also
present was the head of the Croatian Office in Belgrade, Zvonimir
Markovic.
This is the first visit of a Croatian foreign minister to
Belgrade.
The two foreign ministers and their associates are to meet
today for talks on relations between Croatia and FRY and their
possible normalisation.
Minister Granic is expected to be received by President
Milosevic at noon.
The two delegations will then hold another round of talks in
the afternoon.
Minister Granic will also visit the Croatian Office in
Belgrade and meet representatives of ethnic Croats from Vojvodina.
