SARAJEVO, Jan 19 (Hina) - Bosnian parties still have not fully
withdrawn their troops and military hardware from confrontation
lines despite the fact that the deadline expires at midnight on
Friday, the NATO-led peace Implementation Force (IFOR) said.
About 50 heavy artillery pieces remained in areas designated
as zones of separation and were to be removed by the end of the day
in line with the peace agreement, IFOR spokesman Marc Rayner told a
press conference in Sarajevo.
Rayner expressed confidence that the Bosnian army, the Croat
Defence Council (HVO) and Serb forces would complete the pullout by
the agreed deadline.
