Under the Dayton accord, all parties were to hand in
reports on their country's military arsenal for five types of
weapons by January 13. The Croatian delegation handed in their
report on time to the chairman's personal envoy, Norwegian General
Vigleid Eide, and asked him to hand the report to other parties at
the talks after they have submitted theirs.
However, the delegation of the Belgrade government has
still not sent in their report by Monday, 15 January.
In the first round of negotiations held on January 4 and 5,
the Croatian delegates warned that the failure to submit reports on
heavy-weapon arsenals would be considered a serious violation of
the Dayton peace accord.
