ALL SAINTS' DAY IN BH MARKED WITHOUT INCIDENTS ( Editorial: --> 7771 )

( Editorial: --> 7771 ) SARAJEVO, Nov 3 (Hina) - The marking of All Saints' Day in Bosnia- Herzegovina passed without any serious incident, spokesmen of the Stabilization Force and the UN said in Sarajevo Monday. Last weekend, several thousands of persons crossed the inter- entity boundary line in BH or the border between Croatia and Bosnia- Herzegovina, in order to visit Catholic cemeteries on Bosnian Serb- controlled territory. According to UN spokesman Liam McDowall, local police, including in the Bosnian Serb republic, showed a high degree of professionalism in enabling an undisturbed visit to the cemeteries. About 1,500 persons crossed the Croatian-Bosnian border along the Sava river, McDowall said. The only incident occurred on Saturday, when a stone was thrown at a bus returning from Bosanski Brod, BH, to Slavonski Brod, Croatia, injuring one passenger, the UN spokesman said. That was an exception, McDowall said, adding that Serb policemen immediately arrested three persons, of which one will be prosecuted. (hina) ha jn 031730 MET nov 97
