BUGOJNO, PALE, Nov 1 (Hina) - Several thousand displaced persons
lit candles and laid flowers on the graves of their loved ones in
front of a destroyed chapel and by many destroyed gravestones in
their home town of Bugojno, central Bosnia, under the control of the
Bosniac authorities on Saturday.
About two dozen local Catholics gathered at the Catholic cemetery
in Pale, the seat of Bosnian Serb authorities, to mark All Saints'
Day.
The local authorities pledged that the church, which is currently
being used as a warehouse, would be emptied and put to its original
use by next week, the Bosnian Croat news agency, Habena, said on
Saturday.
The parish in Pale was founded in 1920.
