MOSTAR, Oct 24 (Hina) - Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Interior
Minister Valentin Coric told a news conference of Friday that the
Croat side had refused to accept draft agreements on further
activities in the establishment of the canton police and the
termination of a stand-still in the establishment of the federal
Interior Ministry.
The draft agreements violated the constitution of the Bosnian
Federation, the Law on the Federation's home affairs and the Law on
the home affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
Coric claimed that the federal Interior Minister Mehmed Zilic had
"attempted to slide in these two agreements, by saying that they
were suggestions by the International Police Task force (IPTF). We
checked and found out they were not suggestions by the IPTF," Coric
stressed.
