ZAGREB, 20 Oct (Hina) - Croatian Vice Premier Ljerka Mintas-Hodak, Education and Sports Minister Ljilja Vokic and the Italian Ambassador to Croatia, Francesco Olivieri, on Monday discussed the construction of a secondary school for
classes in Italian, which is to start soon in Pula, Istria. Today's meeting was organised at the initiative of the Italian Ambassador.

Education and Sports Minister Ljilja Vokic and the Italian
Ambassador to Croatia, Francesco Olivieri, on Monday discussed the
construction of a secondary school for classes in Italian, which is
to start soon in Pula, Istria.
Today's meeting was organised at the initiative of the Italian

Mintas-Hodak stated after the meeting that it had been agreed
that the Italian government would co-finance the construction of the
school through the National University in Trieste.
'The foundation stone will probably be laid soon and we would
like this to happen during a visit of the Italian President Oscar
Luigi Scalfaro to Croatia', said Mintas-Hodak.
It was announced that Croatia would build a school for the
Croat minority in Molise, Italy.
