MOSTAR, Sept 20 (Hina) - The co-president of the Council of
Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Neven Tomic, and Bosnian Foreign
Minister Jadranko Prlic, on Saturday issued a statement in
relation to a terrorist attack which occurred in western, Croat-
held, Mostar, late Thursday evening, calling it "another attempt
aimed at destabilizing the peace process in BH and the degree
reached in the normalization of relations in Mostar", Bosnian
Croat news agency Habena reported.
The fact that there were attempts to tendentiously and
without any investigative arguments link the Croat side with the
initiators and perpetrators of the incident caused concern, Tomic
and Prlic pointed out in the statement. "It is of particular
significance that such identical standpoints were publicly being
made by the highest Bosniak officials in BH", the said.
These statements lacking in argument might only have a
negative effect on the overall positive processes in BH, Tomic
and Prlic said in their statement, especially on the relations
between Bosniaks and Croats, the implementation of the peace
agreement, and on the results of the recently held municipal
election.
