CROATIAN GOVT DECIDES TO OPEN EMBASSY IN ISRAEL

ZAGREB, 18 Sept (Hina) - At a session held behind closed doors on Thursday, the Croatian Government adopted a report on the implementation of the Law on the Rights of Croatian War Veterans and Members of Their Families in the first half of 1997. The report was sent into parliamentary procedure, the Government Communications Office said in a statement.
ZAGREB, 18 Sept (Hina) - At a session held behind closed doors on Thursday, the Croatian Government adopted a report on the implementation of the Law on the Rights of Croatian War Veterans and Members of Their Families in the first half of 1997. The report was sent into parliamentary procedure, the Government Communications Office said in a statement. #L# The report was composed on the basis of data on employment of demobilised war veterans and members of the families of killed war veterans, provided by the Defence Ministry, state administration bodies in charge of implementing the above mentioned Law and the State Administration for Care for Demobilised Croatian War Veterans and Civil Victims of the Homeland War. The Government also adopted a decision to establish an embassy in Israel, which would be based in Tel Aviv. It relieved Ivan Skoro of his duties as Assistant Economy Minister. The Government also decided to hold a session on the course of the process of peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube river region on Monday, 22 September, the statement said.
