TUZLA, Sept 7 (Hina) - The president of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Vladimir Soljic, on Sunday delivered in Zboriste near
Tuzla (north-eastern Bosnia) a radio and television transmitter
which is to enable the town of Tuzla to tune in to Croatian
Television broadcasts, improve tunings to Croatian Radio and
Croatian Radio Herzeg-Bosnia, and allocate Croatian Radio Soli
another frequency, Bosnian Croat news agency Habena said on Sunday.
With the new transmitter, Croatian Radio Soli's broadcasts
will be heard in some parts of Croatia as well.
Present at today's ceremony were more than 1,000 residents of
Tuzla and the surrounding area, mostly Croats, and numerous
political and culture figures, including the president of the
Croatian Community Herzeg-Bosna, Ivo Andric-Luzanski, the president
of the Tuzla Municipal Committee of the Croatian Democratic Union
Party, Ivica Marinovic, and the president of the Tuzla branch office
of Croatian Cultural Society "Napredak", Miroslav Petrovic.
