SARAJEVO, Aug 21 (Hina) - The Bosnian Moslem-led Party of
Democratic Action (SDA) on Thursday expressed its support for
Bosnian Serb president Biljana Plavsic in her conflict with the
leadership of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) based in Pale,
southeast of Sarajevo.
SDA spokesman Ismet Grbo told a news conference in Sarajevo
that his party supported Plavsic "because of her earlier efforts
to settle accounts with those who hinder the reintegration of
Bosnia-Herzegovina and its development."
He said that Plavsic deserved support in the present
political conflict although she had earlier declared herself as a
hardline nationalist.
