RIJEKA, Aug 21 (Hina) - Regular testing of sea-water along the
Croatian coastline shows the sea remains clean, the State
Environment Protection Administration's Department for the
Protection of the Adriatic Sea in Rijeka (northern Adriatic)
reported on Thursday.
The latest testing shows that sea-water is of high quality at
16, and suitable for swimming at four of 20 beaches inspected.
The mentioned assessments grade sea-water as clean. Also in
use are "occasionally unclean sea-water" and "sea-water unsuitable
for swimming."
