ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Ljerka Mintas-
Hodak travels at the head of a Croatian delegation to New York on Sunday
to attend a UN General Assembly session from June 23 to 27, the
government public relations office said in a statement on Saturday.
The session will discuss the implementation of Agenda 21, a
document passed at the UN conference on environment and development in
Rio in 1992.
Mrs Mintas-Hodak will address the Assembly on Croatian achievements
and plans relating to environmental protection, social issues and
economic development.
The Croatian delegation will include Director of the State
Administration for Environmental Protection Ante Kutle, Ambassador to
the UN Ivan Simonovic and Assistant Foreign Minister Neven Madey.
