MOSTAR, 3 June (Hina) - Bosnian Moslem deputies to the Assembly of
Herzegovina-Neretva Canton walked out of a session on Tuesday after they
failed to reach an agreement with Croat representatives on amendments to
the cantonal constitution. #L#
According to a Croat representative Velimir Maric, the Croat side
said the amendments on the establishment of the city of Mostar should be
adopted in principle, while the Bosniak proposal included details on the
central city zone and organisation of Mostar. That, according to Maric,
should be regulated on the city, not the cantonal level.
The session adopted a bill on budget, proposed by the government,
and entrusted commissions with the task of continuing their work on
adopting canton symbols.
