SARAJEVO, June 2 (Hina) - The Temporary Electoral Commission of the OSCE mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday reached a decision on the establishment of a special body which would hold elections for the Mostar City Council.

establishment of a special body which would hold elections for the

A statement issued by OSCE in Sarajevo said that all political
parties, associations and independent candidates granted the right top
take part in the elections by the Temporary Electoral Commission could
suggest candidates for membership into the Local Electoral Committee for
the election of councillors of the Mostar City Council.
Residents of the six Mostar municipalities are to elect 24
councillors. Eight councillors are to be Bosniacs, eight Croats and
eight members of other national minorities.
Residents of Mostar's central zone are to elect three councillors,
one Croat, one Bosniac and one member of some other national minority.
