western (Croat-held) Mostar, Marko Radic, said on Friday, after Thursday's announcement of the IPTF that it would propose stricter measures to be introduced with the aim of preventing evictions, and that it would request the local police to conduct an inquiry for each case of eviction.

Mostar, Marko Radic, said on Friday, after Thursday's announcement

Radic said that evictions of people from flats in Mostar had
completely stopped in the last 15 days.
He added that there had been threats of evictions, but west
Mostar police had conducted an inquiry each time and had protected
the residents.
Three cars with Herzeg-Bosnian registration plates had been
stoned in eastern Mostar (Moslem-Held) on Friday, the Mostar police
said in a statement.
All three acts had been committed by groups of between 15 and
20 unidentified persons.
A Croat was badly injured in the east part of Mostar on
Wednesday night.
