MOSTAR, Dec 30 (Hina) - Mostar Mayor Ivan Prskalo on Monday
condemned the barbarous beating and stripping of two Croat youths
in eastern (Moslem) part of Mostar on Saturday.
Prskalo called on Bosnian authorities and international police
to mobilise all their resources and track the perpetrators to their
lair.
Travelling from Ljubuski on Saturday afternoon, the two youths
lost their way and wondered into eastern Mostar, where they were
stripped naked and beaten up by Moslem extremists.
The Mostar Mayor expressed indignation and grave concern over
these acts in a statement.
"It is difficult to accept that everything that is Croatian,
including Croat children who stray into Moslem settlements, is
subject to relentless and ferocious terrorist attacks - while at
the same time, thousands of Bosnian civilians, soldiers and
policemen walk unhindered in western Mostar, Citluk and Ljubuski,"
Prskalo said.
