MOSTAR, Dec 29 (Hina) - Two young Bosnian Croat men who had mistakenly driven into the Moslem-held part of Mostar were beaten up on Saturday night, the west Mostar police said in a statement on Sunday.

Unidentified civilians caused the two men "heavy physical
injuries, stripped them naked and told them they could go," the
statement said.
"After a short time the east Mostar police arrived, took the
men to the local police station and took statements," the statement
said, adding that the victims had then been taken to hospital where
they were treated.
Their car was burnt down.
Accompanying the two men were also two young women and another
man who were able to flee to the west part of town.
The International Police Task force had been notified about
the incident, the statement said.
