KOSOVO LIBERATION ARMY DISSATISFIED WITH NATO DECLARATION

PRISTINA, Dec 10 (Hina) - The Kosovo Liberation Army is dissatisfied with a joint declaration issued by ministers of NATO member-countries which, it believes, lacks the willingness to name the main guilty party for the recent wars on former Yugoslav territory and to defend United Nations resolutions and decisions of relevant European Union mechanisms. According to an army statement published on Thursday by Pristina- based dailies in Albanian "Koha Ditore" and "Kosova Sot", the declaration compares and equates the Belgrade regime with armed Albanian units, which the Liberation Army believes is unacceptable. The army headquarters said it had given serious thought to a draft plan for a transitional solution for Kosovo, presented by United States mediator Christopher Hill, and voiced a series of complaints. The Liberation Army believes the latest version of Hill's plan was did not deserving any consideration, due to the fact that it was very close to the demagogic language used by Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. The statement further said there was no shred of evidence indicating the Kosovo Liberation Army was violent. The army was just conducting a liberation battle, the statement said. (hina) ha jn
