MOSTAR, Nov 26 (Hina) - The NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) +units in southern Bosnia on Thursday commenced an intense road +surveillance to check if private vehicles are transporting +weapons, shells, or explosive devices, the
spokesman of SFOR's +multinational division for sector south-east Francois Grandeau +told a press conference in Mostar.+ He said that SFOR was forced to increase its presence in the areas of +Stolac, Capljina, and Mostar due to serious incidents which had +occurred in that area recently.+ We decided to supervise all movements in that area to prevent +threats against returnees, Grandeau added.+ He stressed that in the surveillance of local roads, the SFOR would +take appropriate protection measures for its members.
