ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Counties which suffered damage in the
Homeland War will have a special place to submit offers at the
upcoming donors' conference on the reconstruction and development
of Croatia, Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure
Radic said on Monday.
Representatives of numerous states, international institutions,
banks, and companies will take part in the conference, Radic told
the prefects of war-ravaged counties.
The Minister said the December 4 and 5 Zagreb conference will
present offers for the reconstruction of settlements,
infrastructure, and economy, as well as projects of local
significance.
The Reconstruction and Development Ministry has already collected
700 projects of this kind, including 190 with marked priority.
Radic pointed out the counties should draft special project
catalogues, for infrastructure and economy in the first place,
which will then be offered to potential donors and partners.
International donors are expected to be especially interested in
such development projects, Radic said.
