ZAGREB, Nov 4 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader +on Wednesday met heads of diplomatic missions of countries-+signatories to the Additional Protocol to the Convention on +Navigation Regime on the Danube, accredited
to Croatia.+ Sanader informed the missions' chiefs that the Croatian Government +had confirmed the Additional Protocol to the Convention on +Navigation Regime on the Danube, a statement from the Foreign +Ministry reported.+ The Deputy Foreign Minister also asked the diplomats to inform +their respective governments that Croatia expected other +signatories to complete procedures envisaged by their judiciary +systems as soon as possible so that the Additional Protocol could go +into force and the Danube Commission could turn to fulfilling its +tasks.+ The Additional Protocol to the Convention on Navigation Regime on +the Danube of August 18, 1948, was signed on 26 March

Navigation Regime on the Danube, accredited to Croatia.
Sanader informed the missions' chiefs that the Croatian Government
had confirmed the Additional Protocol to the Convention on
Navigation Regime on the Danube, a statement from the Foreign
Ministry reported.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also asked the diplomats to inform
their respective governments that Croatia expected other
signatories to complete procedures envisaged by their judiciary
systems as soon as possible so that the Additional Protocol could go
into force and the Danube Commission could turn to fulfilling its
tasks.
The Additional Protocol to the Convention on Navigation Regime on
the Danube of August 18, 1948, was signed on 26 March 1998 in
Budapest by Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Moldova, Germany,
Romania, the Russian Federation, Slovakia, the Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia and the Ukraine.
Once the Additional Protocol goes into force, Croatia, Moldova and
Germany will become parties to the Convention and full members of
the Danube Commission.
