LOVAS Oct. 26 (Hina)- Head of the International Organisation for
Migrations (IOM) branch office in Osijek, Jeff Labovitz, on Monday
handed over the keys of an excavator to Zeljko Cibri, mayor of
Lovas.
The machine was donated with the aim of helping the local residents
rebuild their village and re-establish normal living standards.
According to Labovitz, the donation is a continuation of IOM's
efforts to speed up the establishment of conditions for the return
of refugees and their normal living in the Croatian Danube region.
Mayor Cibra said that the excavator, worth about 615,000 kuna, will
be used mainly in communal infrastructure projects in the Lovas
