BELGRADE, Sept 2 (Hina) - An association of Croatian Serbs in
Yugoslavia on Wednesday forwarded an appeal to humanitarian
organisations around the world for the holding of a donors'
conference.
The association claimed Croatian authorities "did not show either
good will or the necessary understanding for assisting returnees to
Croatia."
According to Wednesday reports in Belgrade's media, the
association claimed that "local (Croatian) authorities (were) not
implementing the decisions of (a) return plan with the excuse that
they need previous instructions from the (Croatian) government."
The association seeks the establishment of a bank for Serb refugees
from Croatia which should act within the Serb National Council in
Belgrade.
