SERBIAN FORCES KILL 20-MEMBER KOSOVO ALBANIAN FAMILY

( Editorial: --> 0386 ) PRISTINA, July 28 (Hina) - Serbian forces Tuesday shot to death a 20-member family in the village of Junik, near the Yugoslav- Albanian border. According to the Kosovo Information Centre, after Serbian forces surrounded the Kosovo village of Junik, the family surrendered themselves to the police and army by hoisting a white sheet. The Serbian troops surrounding the village did not heed the sheet and shot the whole family, most of whom were children. On the third day of offensive on Junik, Serbian forces are using the infantry and motorised artillery, the Information Centre said. The Centre also said the troops also continued shelling six villages in the Decani municipality, not far from the Albanian border. (hina) LML 281819 MET jul 98
