KOSOVO LIBERATION ARMY WILL FIGHT TILL VICTORY : KRASNIQI

( Editorial: --> 0199 ) PRISTINA, July 27 (Hina)- Spokesman for the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVK), Jakup Krasniqi, told the Albanian Television on Monday that the OVK was determined to continue fighting until it is victorious against Serbian forces that have launched an offensive in Kosovo in the past few days. The OVK will not take part in the new Kosovo government, Krasniqi said. He stressed that the Kosovo Liberation Army opposed the "imposed meaningless solutions" for this Yugoslav province. Dismissing claims that the OVK had been separated into fractions, Krasniqi called on the international community to do everything to prevent the killing of civilians in Kosovo. Serbian forces are using more than 150 tanks, personnel carriers, armoured vehicles and heavy artillery in the offensive, Krasniqi said. (hina) lml 272155 MET jul 98
