SIX OPPOSITION PARTIES PROPOSE DISCUSSION ON VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNMENT

IN GOVERNMENT ( Editorial: --> 1969 ) ZAGREB, June 17 (Hina) - The parliamentary benches of six Croatian opposition parties on Wednesday submitted their proposal for initiating a discussion on a vote of no confidence in the government. The benches said their move was caused by the Constitutional Court's decision on annulling some regulations of the Pension Adjustment Law. The real reason is the difficult position of pensioners "caused by the Government's decisions on harmonising the maximum amounts of funds available for the payment of pensions," the benches said.
