ZAGREB, June 17 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman held
talks with the president and vice-presidents of the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday evening.
HDZ BH vice-president Jozo Maric told Croatian Television's (HTV)
currents affairs programme, Motrista, that in discussions with
Tudjman there was word "of the situation in the party, preparations
for the elections and possible candidates for positions in the
executive powers of Bosnia-Herzegovina".
Maric also said that the Presidency of HDZ BH at Monday's session
discussed the Memorandum on the Transformation of BH Television
which was signed by Kresimir Zubak. "Everything that Zubak signs,
he signs on his own behalf, that is in the name of his new party, if he
is forming it," asserted Maric.
"He should by all means serve his technical mandate in the
Presidency of BH but it would be correct of him that when such
decisions are made, important to the Croatian people, that he
consults with members (Croatian) of the Government (BH Federation)
and the Presidency of HDZ BH".
Questioned how will HDZ BH make a stand on another agreements which
Zubak will be signing until September in the name of the Croatian
people, Maric answered that he will send Zubak a clear message that
"he cannot sign on behalf of the Croatian people things which would
crucially endanger their rights and what he has created until now.
