SARAJEVO, June 2 (Hina) - Bosnian Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic
Tuesday held talks with the head of the Organisation for Security
and Cooperation in Europe mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert
Barry.
The talks focused on preparations for the forthcoming election.
According to a statement from the Bosnian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, special attention was paid to how refugees will vote,
possibilities of including representatives of the Bosnian Council
of Ministers in following the election, and issues caused by the
break-up of old and establishment of new parties.
OSCE's Barry told Prlic that 78 parties had registered for the
September election, but that some failed to meet criteria necessary
for participation.
Barry also said decisions on the registration of parties formed
after the break-up of extant ones would be made by the Transitional
Election Commission.
