ZAGREB, June 16 (Hina) - Representatives of 21 German companies
Tuesday arrived in Croatia for a three-day visit to Zagreb, Rijeka
and Karlovac.
Today they held talks with representatives from 22 companies from
Zagreb, Varazdin and Osijek at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in
Zagreb.
The patron of the visit is the German Ministry of Economy. The
German delegation is headed by Rainer Lucas, advisor to the Economy
Minister and head of the Ministry's department for countries of
central and eastern Europe.
Representatives of companies of all branches have arrived in
Croatia to acquaint Croatian partners with the complete picture of
the German industry, Lucas said.
We intend to establish good cooperation with the Croatian
Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economy, and with the Croatian
Chamber of Commerce, he said.
Croatian representatives will seek ways to increase export.
Last year, Croatian export to Germany amounted to US$775 million,
while import reached US$841 million.
