PRISTINA, June 11 (Hina) - Serb forces began another shelling
attack on Kosovo villages bordering with Albania.
Secretary of the local Human Rights Committee in the Djakovica
municipality, Fuad Haxhibeqiri, said Thursday that Serb forces had
launched possibly the worst attack to date.
There is information about two men being killed in the attack.
Albanian residents in the Orahovac municipality organised a
defence front and joined the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported that around
nine thousand people from Kosovo have found refuge in Montenegro
since April 25.
It is assumed that this number is much bigger because many refugees
had not requested help from humanitarian organisations, but found
accommodation with relatives.
The UNHCR registered the arrival of 375 Kosovo refugees on
Wednesday, 312 of which are Albanians, 38 Moslems, 20 Montenegrins
and five Serbs.
