ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - Croatian Minister for European Integration,
Ljerka Mintas-Hodak and representatives of the International
Centre for Civil Education on Friday held talks on the Croatian-
American cooperation in the field of child education in protecting
and promoting human rights and democracy.
"We discussed further cooperation with the Centre", said Mintas-
Hodak, adding a pilot-project, "Project Citizen", was being
implemented in 40 schools in Croatia.
Mintas-Hodak expressed her wish for the project to be adopted by all
schools in Croatia, so as to educate children about protection of
human rights.
Charles Qualgley, the Centre's director and head of the delegation,
will also meet representatives from the Education and Culture
Ministries.
