ANKARA, April 16 (Hina) - Croatia and Turkey signed a Protocol of
Cooperation in Science and Technology, in Ankara on Thursday.
The document was signed by Croatian Science and Technology Minister
Ivica Kostovic and his Turkish counterpart Rustu Kazim Yucelen.
Present at the official event were also assistant for international
science cooperation Radovan Fuchs, head of the department for
bilateral cooperation Vinko Purgar and the Croatian Ambassador to
Ankara, Ivica Tomic.
The high Croatian delegation today met with the chairman of the
Turkish Higher Education Council, Kemal Guruz, then with the
president of the Turkish Scientific Research Council, Dincer
Ulku.
During these meetings it was agreed that the protocol signed today
would give a new incentive to the development of relations and
cooperation between the two countries, especially in the area of
science.
Kostovic and his team visited the Turkish Tourism Ministry during
the afternoon, where they discussed cooperation possibilities in
tourism.
